“WCTV’S TEACHER OF THE MONTH”
September, 2012 – May, 2013
TO ENTER:
Each month, click on the Submission Tab above to submit an essay (100 words or less) as to why your Teacher should be chosen for Teacher of the Month and Teacher's photo (optional) for a chance for your Teacher to win great prizes!
Entries will carry over monthly if the Teacher is not chosen as the winner.
For each month, submissions will take place as follows:
OCTOBER 6, 2012 5AM and will end on OCTOBER 18, 2012 3PM
NOVEMBER 3, 2012 5AM and will end on NOVEMBER 15, 2012 3PM
DECEMBER 1, 2012 5AM and will end on DECEMBER 13, 2012 3PM
JANUARY 5, 2013 5AM and will end on JANUARY 17, 2013 3PM
FEBRUARY 2, 2013 5AM and will end on FEBRUARY 14, 2013 3PM
MARCH 2, 2013 5AM and will end on MARCH 14, 2013 3PM
APRIL 6, 2013 5AM and will end on APRIL 18, 2013 3PM
MAY 4, 2013 5AM and will end on MAY 16, 2013 3PM
VOTING:
After the submission deadline each month, viewers will have the ability to vote on all entries; you can vote once per day!
The Teacher with the most votes will become the Teacher of the Month for that specific month.
Votes will reset monthly to give each Teacher a fair chance of winning each month.
For each month, voting will take place as follows:
OCTOBER 18, 2012 3PM and will end on OCTOBER 25, 2012 12PM
NOVEMBER 15, 2012 3PM and will end on NOVEMBER 22, 2012 12PM
DECEMBER 13, 2012 3PM and will end on DECEMBER 20, 2012 12PM
JANUARY 17, 2013 3PM and will end on JANUARY 24, 2013 12PM
FEBRUARY 14, 2013 3PM and will end on FEBRUARY 21, 2013 12PM
MARCH 14, 2013 3PM and will end on MARCH 21, 2013 12PM
APRIL 18, 2013 3PM and will end on APRIL 25, 2013 12PM
MAY 16, 2013 3PM and will end on MAY 23, 2013 12PM
PRIZES:
All sponsors will donate a prize for each month's Teacher of the Month; prizes may change monthly!
For each month, the Teacher of the Month will receive a Full Oil Change provided by Super Lube, a $50 Envision Credit Union VISA gift card provided by Envision Credit Union, a trophy provided by Awards 4 U, and a $100 gift card provided by Ashley Furniture.
WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Each Month, the Teacher of the Month will be notified by email and/or by phone.
For each month, the Teacher of the Month will be announced during the Good Morning Show from 6-7AM on the Friday after voting ends (may be following Monday depending on confirmation).
